We are not a warehouse dispatching stock. We are a workshop creating your product. Here is what that difference means for your delivery.

A factory produces a product in minutes. An artisan produces it in days. The time is not a delay — it is the process. Every piece is shaped, sanded, treated, and finished by one person who is responsible for its quality. When it leaves the workshop, it has passed through hands that have spent years learning their craft.

Twelve checkpoints before your package closes

Before any product enters its packaging, it passes a 12-point quality inspection — structural integrity, finish consistency, dimension accuracy, personalisation correctness, and surface quality. If a piece does not pass, it is reworked or remade. We would rather delay a shipment by one day than send you something that is 90% right.

Wooden products are heavy, dense, and valuable. We use recycled kraft tissue wrap, custom-moulded foam inserts, and double-walled corrugated outer boxes rated for products twice the weight of what we ship. Gift-ready presentation is standard — your piece arrives in packaging worthy of what is inside.

Couriers chosen for reliability, not cheapest rate

We use Delhivery and Blue Dart for domestic shipping, and FedEx and DHL for international. These are not the cheapest options available to us. They are the ones with the tracking infrastructure, the handling standards, and the delivery reliability that a handcrafted product deserves. Every shipment is fully insured from workshop to doorstep.

Time Explained

Processing time is the time your product spends in our workshop — being made. It is separate from shipping time, which begins the moment your package leaves us.

Packaging & Protection
Four Layers Deep

A handcrafted wooden product is heavy, dense, and irreplaceable once personalised. Our packaging is engineered around that reality — not designed to be cheap.

Kraft Tissue Wrap

Your product is first wrapped in recycled kraft tissue paper. The tissue is secured with a branded wax seal — the same seal we have used since 1981. This inner layer protects the finish and signals to the recipient that something special is inside.

A custom-moulded foam insert, shaped to the product profile, holds the piece immobile during transit. The foam is cut for each product category — not generic off-the-shelf padding. Heavy wooden products do not move inside the box.

Our outer boxes are double-walled corrugated board, rated for products twice the weight of what we ship. We use boxes with a minimum burst strength of 200 PSI. The box closes with tamper-evident security tape that shows if it has been opened.

Shipment Created Notification

The moment your shipping label is generated, you receive your tracking number via email and SMS. This is usually the evening of your final production day.

Your email includes a direct tracking link to the courier website. Every scan your package makes at a facility updates in real time — you can follow it from our warehouse to your city.

Courier SMS Updates

Our courier partners (Blue Dart, Delhivery, FedEx, DHL) send their own SMS alerts at key milestones: out for delivery, delivery attempted, delivered.

What Changes for You

Personalisation adds time — and adds meaning. Here is exactly how the process works and how it affects your delivery window.

Complete your order with the personalisation details — name, message, date, or design brief. The more specific you are, the better we can match your vision.

Within 24–48 hours of payment, our design team creates a digital mockup of how your personalisation will appear on the actual product. We show you font, size, placement, and scale.

Proof Shared With You03

The proof is shared via WhatsApp (preferred) or email. We include multiple layout options where relevant. Nothing proceeds without your green light.

You Approve04

Reply with approval — and crafting begins. If you want a change, tell us. We revise and re-share. Most approvals happen within one round; complex designs may take two.

Personalisation Applied05

Engraving, laser marking, or hand-painting is executed exactly as approved. The piece then goes through the standard quality inspection before packaging.

HS Code Declaration

All international shipments are declared under HS Code 4420 (wooden articles for domestic/decorative use). This is the correct classification for our products. Customs authorities in most countries accept this without question.

Duties & Taxes — Buyer's Responsibility

Import duties, taxes, and customs clearance fees charged by your country's government are not included in our shipping charges. These vary by country, value threshold, and product type. We cannot predict or pre-pay them.

Declared Value

We declare the accurate purchase value on customs documentation — we do not under-declare or mark items as "gifts" to avoid duties. This protects both parties legally and ensures insurance validity.

Packaging for Long Haul

International packages get additional corner reinforcement and double-sealing for the longer transit. All international shipments are fully insured at declared value through FedEx or DHL.

Shipping Restrictions
& Limitations

A small number of areas and situations fall outside our standard shipping capabilities. We are transparent about these so there are no surprises after you order.

Domestic Restrictions

Remote & Restricted PIN Codes

Some areas — particularly remote Himalayan regions, parts of Northeast India, and island territories — are not serviceable by our standard couriers. For these PINs, delivery may take 14+ days via India Post or surface freight, or may not be available.

Address Completeness Requirements

Deliveries to addresses without a complete house/flat number, building name, and PIN code cannot be guaranteed. An incomplete address is the most common cause of failed delivery. Please double-check your address before completing checkout.

P.O. Box Addresses

We do not ship to P.O. Box addresses for domestic orders. Our courier partners require a physical delivery address for handcrafted products, which need a signature on receipt. For international orders, some remote-area P.O. Boxes may be accepted — contact us first.

International Restrictions

  • We do not ship to countries currently under UN or Indian trade sanctions.

  • Products made from specific wood types may be restricted in some countries under CITES regulations. We will confirm before accepting the order.

  • Orders to countries requiring import permits for wooden goods must be arranged by the buyer prior to shipment.

  • We cannot guarantee customs clearance in any country — delays are at the discretion of local customs authorities.

How We Handle Them

Delays happen. We are honest about when and why they occur — and we take responsibility for communicating them clearly and resolving them fast.

Diwali, Rakhi, Christmas, and New Year are our highest-demand periods. During these windows, processing times may extend by 2–3 additional working days. We notify customers proactively when ordering during a known peak period.

We monitor every package

We track every active shipment internally. If something stalls for more than 48 hours without movement, we escalate with the courier on your behalf.

Insurance covers loss

All shipments are fully insured. If a package is lost or damaged in transit, we file the insurance claim and dispatch a replacement or issue a refund — no argument.

Delays do not void your rights

If your delivery is delayed beyond the agreed window, you retain the right to cancel for a full refund. We do not penalise customers for delays caused by forces outside your control.
